The Sims 4: Color Wheel Will Not Be Included

Since news broke about “Create a Style” being eliminated in the 4th installment of The Sims, players have been hoping for an alternative to their customization habits. Unfortunately for the hopefuls, SimGuruGraham has also confirmed that a color wheel will not be making its way into The Sims 4.

        Fixed an issue where Sims could not get married.
        Fixed an issue where Sims could not use the telescope.
        Fixed an issue where Sims could not collect space rocks.

    
    
    Create a world updates:

        Fixed an issue with saving worlds in Create A World.
        Worlds will now install and appear on the main menu properly when downloaded. Worlds do not need to be resaved for this to apply. Any worlds that were affected by this issue can be reinstalled via the launcher and will appear in the main menu.

    
    
    Store updates:

        Fixed an issue where several Store sets were not appearing in the appropriate room category in Buy Mode.

First Screenshots & Box Art of Sims 3 University Life

Brazilian fansite Sims Domination has somehow landed their hands on the first University Life Screenshots. Although I never post anything without seeing an official source, (and I have been skeptical for hours!), the screenshots look pretty official to me now that more have been released.

The Sims 3 University

Oh dear, here we are again. And this time it was no one but Origin itself!  We found out that the page for the 9th expansion pack was leaked. And it is The Sims 3 University!
The page was found on Origin Russia and Germany, which leaves very little room for other theories.. but then again, until the official announcement, this must be labeled as a rumor!

Infomation about Ep Season

I have been offline for a while and I am sorry about that but I am back on this weekend and will be back on sometime next week....

My best friend Marie has sent me this message about season for Sims 3

seasons was accidentally put up on origin yesterday, this indicates that its official the box art is fuckin amazin i can't wait for November, on the box art theres a kissing booth, someone lying on a floaty thing in the ocean, snowboarding, soccer, pumpkins and someone holding an umbrella in a thunderstorm n bein struck by lightning....there's also an ice lounge for the limited edition...here's a link explainin more thats been found out http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/568390.page this is the one an only ep i'm gonna have to pay postage to get the game on release day as waitin will b torture..u have 3 months 2 get saving

installing Collection files

To have a collection appearing in your game, just put this package [ SIMc-*setname*-collection]  into your
My documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Collections\User  folder

Collections work as a kind of shortcut, they help you to locate the pieces of a set all together on game catalog but they don't carry the objects itself so, you'll have to download the object pieces AND the collection.
We repeat: this is just a shortcut to find the pieces quickly in the game catalog. The collection file is not the object set itself.

Our collections don't have custom icons, they have EA icons. We use to have custom icons on Sims2 but for Sims3 we decided to keep the collection icons as simple as they are.

Collections will be available by sets.

Updates to Store Magic items coming with Supernatural (Sims 3 Forums)

I’m here to tell you about how the The Sims 3 Supernatural is going to enhance existing magic items that are available on The Sims 3 Store! These items will not be included in Supernatural, but if you’ve purchased them from the Store, you’ll get the benefits of these special effects:

Brewing potions in Lord Vladimir’s Magic Cauldron will increase your Sim’s Alchemy Skill, and Sims can conjure components in the cauldron that will be needed for crafting within the Alchemy system.

Telling fortunes and peering into The Soothsayer’s Crystal Ball will give a job performance bonus if the Sim is a member of the Fortune Teller career!

Performing the magical interactions on Lady Ravendancer Goth’s Book o’ Spells and the Malleable Mimic Voodoo Doll will increase your Sim’s hidden Spellcasting Skill. You will be able to use the Voodoo Doll to curse other Sims and turn them into a zombie! You will also be able to use the Voodoo Doll to bless zombie Sims and cure them of their affliction.

Lastly, there will be a new interaction on the Voodoo Doll, “Transform!” This is only available when a Voodoo Doll is bound to a Werewolf or a Fairy. You’ll have to wait to play The Sims 3 Supernatural to find out what that does specifically.

The Sims 3 Expansion Pack 7 Icon?

iSims has located a hidden file in the “FeaturedItems” part of The Sims 3 folder called “content_icon_conceptsicon.hide”.
I wonder, if these are true, what the next expansion will be – Seasons or Magic? But, I quite like the middle one..

SimCookie has supposedly found some info on an EA server or maybe a patch about a Seasons EP. Mainly interactions and dialog.
